Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, North Carolina. Monday, October 13, 2014 -Sugar Mountain Resort’s www.skisugar.com/trailmap new ski slope named Gunther’s Way boldly captures your attention upon entering the Village of Sugar Mountain. The newly anticipated intermediate level slope features a variety of changing terrain. Situated on nine acres, Gunther’s Way is 150 feet wide and 2,900 feet long.
Sugar Mountain Resort’s 24th annual Oktoberfest will be held October 11th & 12th. Take in the beautiful fall foliage, cool, comfortable mountain temperatures and a weekend full of Oktoberfest activities from 10:00am – 5:00pm each day. Be sure to bring the kids and the grandparents because the festival is for the whole family. Admission, parking and shuttle service are free. Rain, shine or snow the festival will go on….
Oskar Blues’ high gravity G’Knight Imperial Red IPA brewed in Longmont, Colorado took top honors in the Best in Show Beer contest during the third annual SugarBrew Festival held Saturday, August 2nd. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort’s Last Run Lounge will feature G’Knight Imperial Red IPA throughout the winter season….
SugarBrew begins at noon and winds down at 6 pm on Saturday, August 2nd. General admission and parking are free. Tasting tickets are $30 online or $35 at the event. The main attraction will be the sampling of domestic, craft and import beers; hard ciders; wines; champagne; small batch, handcrafted spirits like liqueur, brandy, vodka, gin, rum, whiskey and moonshine!
