Special Event Line-Up At Sugar Mountain Resort
For The 2008-2009 Winter Season
SUGAR MOUNTAIN RESORT, NC – While we wait for the cold weather to settle in and the snow to fly check out the special events and programs planned at Sugar Mountain Resort this winter season. http://www.skisugar.com/calendar
Here's a short list of what's happening before the year's end. The Thanksgiving Turkey Treat lets you gobble up savings. Try out this season's ski & snowboard equipment during SugarFest. Catch some excitement during the Edge of the World/Burton Rail Jam Expression Session. Enjoy the acoustic sounds of North Carolina High Country bluegrass by BOSS HAWG live once a month from 4:00-6:00 pm. 1994 Olympic Gold & Silver Medalist Diann Roffe and two-time (1994 & 1996) Olympian, Krista Schmidinger will give you an edge up on your peers as they both top the coaching staff list for the Adult Pre-Season Ski Clinic. Santa takes a break from toy making to ski and snowboard on Sugar Mountain. Snowshoeing in North Carolina – only at Sugar Mountain! Join us for our mountain style New Year's Eve Celebration with the Terry Batson Band.
Special events and programs continue right through the New Year! Skiing 70 year olds' and older are invited to our annual Septuagenarian Party. Public ski racing through the NASTAR program is held every Saturday and Sunday. Great fun is always had at Sugar Bear's Birthday Celebration. The 2009-10 Spyder winter apparel line samples are available only at Sugar Mountain Resort during the Spyder Sample Sale. Join the fight against cancer when you participate in the Richard T. Trundy Memorial Sugar Cup event. All proceeds go to the American Cancer Society. Dress up in your Easter costume and come join Sugar Bear and Sweetie Bear on the slopes in search of prize filled eggs. And finally, you'll enjoy savings of at least 25% on almost everything at Sugar Mountain Resort during March Madness.
